Coast 2 Coast Swim Challenge (Quad Crown)
All ages. All abilities. Just need to be able to swim one lap for a great cause! This is a workout -- if you want... coached or just individual. Sponsor. Volunteer. Swim. 5:30 AM - 6:00 PM, all day. Come one. Come all! Also for the first year we will have long course swimming from 6-9:30am so sign up early as there will be a limit on swimmers per lane during those hours. This will be a coached workout and will a great training session for those racing this summer. A one-of-a-kind aquatic fundraiser with 100% of the funds raised by swimmers providing FREE swim lessons to those who apply and meet the criteria. This past year C2C also began a relationship with 'One with the Water,' an organization that teaches disabled and/ or terminally ill children and adults how to swim.
Did you know that drowning surpasses all other causes of death among children ages 14 and under in California, while LA County has the highest rate of near-drowning of any county in the state? The Coast 2 Coast Swim Challenge was created to heighten awareness of these facts and combat this problem locally.
Whether you swim slow or fast, for one lap or a hundred, you’ll have fun while making a difference! See registration page for complete details.
