Tower2Tower stair climb
On Saturday, June 6, the Third Annual Tower 2 Tower Stair Climb Run will be held at 500 Esplanade Drive in Oxnard. The climb is designed for all ages. Check in starts at 9:00 am; the run starts at 10:00 am. This fundraising event is one of the most important events of the year for the Oxnard Youth Fire Explorers. Fourteen flights of grueling straight-up steps, then fourteen flights back down, throw an obstacle course in the mix, and then twenty-two more flights straight up…if you’re tough enough to handle the total fifty floors and 9,000 steps running, try it with 70lb. turnouts and safety gear (turnouts and gear not included).
