S&TF Meditation - Learn How to Truly Relax for the
S&TF is excited to be featuring Jylian Sy, who will be offering an introductory Meditation Course to help you truly relax, at our center...whether you are a mother who wants to slow things down after a busy day juggling the family, a business person who is struggling with the work load, or, an athlete who needs to stay calm prior to a race or event, etc.
Instructor: Jylian Sy Jylian is a current S&TF member. For over 15 years, Jylian Sy has been a transition coach and meditation instructor. Introduced to "body-mind" practice early in her life as a ballerina, Jylian completed her BFA in Dance at UC Irvine while minoring in Psychobiology. She participated in neuroplasticity and kinesiology research in the Psych/Bio lab made her a unique subject and garnered her an invitation to work with peak performance guru Kurt Krueger. These early experiences inspired Jylian to pursue what would become a lifelong fascination with the body's physical-metaphysical connection and the mind's creative power After school, Jylian continued her education in the healing arena with drumming, Chinese herbal remedies, and Buddhist practice with a Zen master. Following her Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma diagnosis in 1999, Jylian deepened her wellness education with the study of mantra, binaural beat patterns, and a certification in Release Coaching.
The Mediation Course We will be offering 4 introductory sessions which will be repeated for convenience and scheduling ease. S&TF members and Friends can buy the two-pack for $50, or the whole Course 4-pack for $95
Days and Dates: Lesson 1 and 2 Sunday March 22 - Lesson 1 Sunday March 29 - Lesson 2 REPEAT of Lesson 1 & 2 Sunday April 12 - Lesson 1 Sunday April 19 - Lesson 2 Lesson 3 and 4 Sunday May 3 - Lesson 3 Sunday May 10 - Lesson 4 REPEAT of Lesson 3 & 4 Sunday May 31 - Lesson 3 Sunday June 7 - Lesson 4
Time: All sessions will start on Sunday at 9am and run through to around 10:15am Cost: The way we have the course set, allows for a lot of scheduling flexibility. You can buy the Course in pieces, or as a whole. You could attend the first two-pack of Lessons 1 and 2 and repeat them, if you want...or if you sign up for the first two-pack of Lessons 1 and 2 and can't make one of them you can make it up in the associated REPEAT session. Same goes for Lessons 3 and 4. Buying the course as a whole will save you a little.
