IRONMAN 70.3 Pays d'Aix will take place on the city of Aix en Provence. Aix en Provence is rich in history and arts combine to create some of the most beautiful museums and local architecture in the world. Athletes will embark on a one-loop, 1.2-mile swim that takes place in the waters of Plantain, located in the city of Peyrolles-en-Provence. During the 56-mile bike course, athletes will pass through Pays d'Aix and eight surrounding towns, which allow for spectator support. A three-loop, 13.1 mile run course winds athletes through city and forest roads through La Torse Park and the city of Aix-en-Provence. There are 50 qualifying slots to the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship 2015 in Zell am See-Kaprun, Salzburg, Austria.
