The Lyonnaise des Eaux Grand Prix is THE triathlon season’s event since it gathers on its circuit all the best French and foreigners athletes – all members of 1st league clubs.
The 1st League Clubs compete to win the Champion de France title.
Elite Races
Women Elite : 65 competitors
Men Elite : 85 competitors
The concept
An annual circuit composed with 5 stops
16 men team and 14 women team are competing
5 competitors are in charge of winning points for their team
The Champion de France title is awarded at the end of the last stop
General Public Races
In order to allow everyone to give it a try and combine the 3 sports at the same time, every Lyonnaise des Eaux Grand Prix stops offers races attainable by anyody with distances adapted to all levels and all ages, open to members and non members of the French Triathlon Federation.
The French Triathlon Federation and Lyonnaise des Eaux wish, with those types of races, to increase public awareness of this Circuit and hope to get loads of competitors and spectators!
Passion for triathlon is real. Over the 5 weekends of this year circuit, all general public races combined, more than 7 000 competitors took part in the event (including 3000 in La Baule and 2 600 in Paris)
