Lake Tahoe Trail 100k - Leadville Qualifier
The Lake Tahoe Trail 100k is the 2nd race of the Leadville Qualifying Series. The challenging and picturesque course at the Northstar Resort will feature two 30 mile loops on a mixture of fire-roads and single track. Racers have the opportunity to gain entry to the famed Leadville Trail 100 Mountain Bike Race by top age group placing or by lottery. 50 spots will be distributed by age group and 50 spots will be distributed by lottery to those who have completed the Lake Tahoe Trail 100k within the cutoff time. Qualifiers must be present to accept their LT100 entry and pay on site.
The Resort offers ample lodging and dining options, and just a couple miles from the resort is Truckee, California offering many more. The resort is just minutes from breathtaking Lake Tahoe. Northstar® Resort boasts more than 100 miles of trails for mountain biking. The Mountain Bike Park is centrally located on the mountain, with hiking or Gondola access to Mid-Mountain. The Lodge at Big Springs, located at Mid-Mountain, offers delicious food options, restrooms, a bar and an excellent place to relax during the day on the deck
