The BRICK: Bike Trainer/Run
THE WORKOUT
On BIKE TRAINERS performing 3-4 Intervals of 5-12min at variable cadence and intensity, followed by a Track Run of 800 -1200m at variable speeds.
Recommended for all abilities and you MUST be an LATC member to participate. BRING YOUR OWN BIKE TRAINERS and come fully prepared to get your HURT on!
The GOAL
The ideal transition from bike to run ensures that: blood flushes and redistributes, race run tempo is phased in, steady state is held, surges can be taken or dealt out, and finally a kick butt sprint is available.
This is a member led workout, please exercise caution when attending workouts and remember that you are training at your own risk.
