Coast to Coast Swim Challenge
This challenge is not just about setting a world record. Drowning surpasses all of causes of death among children age 14 and under in California, while Los Angeles county has by far, the highest rate of near drowning of any county in the state. We are hoping that the event will unite Southern California athletes to raise awareness of swim safety. More importantly, proceeds from this event will allow us to provide a free swim instruction program for children in the Los Angeles area.
