Levi Leipheimer King Ridge GranFondo

The 2010 Levi Leipheimer King Ridge GranFondo holds all the promise of its inaugural running, with a renewed focus on delivering more fun and festivities along the way. We offer three routes of varying distance and challenge, but the most difficult and longest of these, the Gran route, is sold out. Registration is still open for the 65-mile Medio and 32-mile Piccolo routes, but these spots are going fast! We hope you’ll commit to another day of stunning vistas, epic terrain, grand discovery, and exceptional rider support. The 2010 GranFondo awaits!

The Gran route is an amazing journey of grandeur amongst the towering and enchanted forests that flank the base of King Ridge. The route climbs out of the depths of the town of Cazadero into one of the most breathtakingly beautiful expanses of terrain with incredible rolling ridgetop views of nearby mountains, ridges, valleys and, of course, the vast Pacific Ocean. After cresting King Ridge Road, Gran riders are in for whipping descents and the rolling profiles of the coastal roads until you make your way back towards Occidental via Coleman Valley Road. From there, it’s smooth sailing back into Santa Rosa.
