Sunchaser Challenge Multi-Sport Endurance Race
Welcome to the first-ever series of the Sunchaser Challenge. A unique and 'green' adventure event to mark US Endangered Species Day and protect wildlife under the threat of extinction. Using basic navigation skills, the aim of the challenge (for both teams and individuals) is to be the first to 'rescue' 50 of the U.S.A's endangered animals from a series of checkpoints. The Sunchaser Challenge is designed for everyone of every ability, whether you’ve never taken part in a multi sport event or you’re an experienced athlete, our specially designed course will allow you to go at your own pace and within your own limits or push yourself to the max but above all it’s about having lots of fun. Race Day The course is designed in stages so that not everyone will be competing in the same discipline at the same time – a bit like a circuit class – so you may start the day with a run or you may start with a mountain bike – but you will move round the course in a set order and complete as many of the activities as you choose to throughout the duration of the day. Entry Categories: 2 - 5 person team OR solo participation Disciplines: Running / Trekking, Mountain Biking,Kayaking, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Road Cycling, Basic Navigation Race Time: Sunrise to Sunset Locations: Saranac Lake, New York; Lake Geneva, Wisconsin; Lake Havasu, Arizona; North Lake Tahoe, California
