About the Orange County Great Park: The former Marine Corps Air Station El Toro (site of the very first mud run in history) is being transformed into the Orange County Great Park, the first great metropolitan park of the 21st Century. Spanning more than 1,300 acres, the Great Park will be nearly twice the size of New York’s Central Park. We are excited to have our Mud Run at this historic location. Eco Mud Run Features: 5K Eco Mud Run • Choose your start time: Early birds: 9:00am or Sleep in a bit Event: 10:30am • Ages 13 & over • Race as individual or part of a 4-person team • Unique awards to top finishers Eco Kids Fun Mud Run (non-timed event) • 11:45am start for this fun event • Ages 12 & under (1 mile run for ages 8-12, 1/2 mile run for ages 4-7) • For all: entry includes our Eco Mud Run Stainless-Steel Commemorative Canteen Course: Get ready for some good, dirty fun on our Tour de Mud 5K course! The course is designed to test your running, wading, jumping, climbing and balance skills throughout the mud intensive course!
