Many of us are prepping for IM CA 70.3 - April 4 in Oceanside. This means we have to hit the ocean. Location: Lifeguard station 26 - Santa Monica beach. If you go to www.maps.google.com and type in "Barnard Way Santa Monica CA", you will see where Ocean Park meets Barnard Way. This is around lifeguard station 26 - also plentiful parking. (I am uncertain if there is a fee before 8 a.m.). It is about a mile south of Pico. It sounds like the water is in mid-50's. We'll "buddy up" once we all get there. It sounds like there may be differing levels - so hopefully everyone will have someone to swim with.
