Ocean 101
The Ocean 101 is more of an introduction to the ocean, rather than a swim clinic. We'll start with some beach instruction, discuss ocean rhythms, currents, surf, tides, entering and exiting, etc. Then conditions permitting, we'll hit the waters to practice some basic techniques. Above all else, we want you to feel comfortable and safe in the ocean.
Meet at 6:15 am in the small parking lot where Ocean meets Barnard Way, in Santa Monica. We start promptly at 6:30 am, ending at 7:30 am. Bring dollar bills and quarters for parking.
