Race is at 7200+ feet elevation. 1000 yards swim (1.5 loop) - 11 miles mountain bike (2 loops, challenging, 2000ft climbing) - 4 miles trail run (out and back, 1000ft of climbing)
Snow Valley is 1/2 way between Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead about 90 min from LA
