Auburn Int Tri
formerly "The World's Toughest Tri" this half ironman has some of the biggest bike climbs and steepest run slopes. Plus a LATC discount. located just outside Auburn in Northern CA (just off I-80)
The swim is in Clementine Lake and has a steep exit ramp to T1. The bike has some pretty steep ascents (7.5%) and climbs several thousand feet. Its an out and back course so also plenty of downhill. Run is 50/50 road and trail with some steep climbing
