TRIFIT Strength Training for Triathletes
Description Strength training is an essential component for success in triathlon. If you want to avoid injury, increase power and speed while developing better mechanics, this class is for you! Triathletes log endless hours in the pool and on the road while usually missing out on the very important strength component, because who has time for that also! It has been proven in multiple studies however that even just an hour of strength training per week can allow you to carve up to 25 percent out of your swim, bike and run volume while improving performance and enjoying better race-day results. A well thought out strength training program is the next step in obtaining that extra competitive edge. This class will focus on whole body strength using triathlon specific moves and proper progression.
