| Friday Gladstone's Swim

| Description |
Weekly swim (parallel to shore, up and back) in the cove along PCH between Gladstone's Restaurant, Coastline Drive, and the Charthouse. In the summer, most people swim all the way to the Charthouse and back (2.4 miles), while a smaller groups swims to Coastline and back (1.3 miles)
We start the swim at 6:30. Please make sure you get there at or soon after 6:20, to be ready at 6:30.
Most people park along PCH in front of the Gladstone’s parking lot (free).
All swimmers participate at their own risk.
We swim year round.
If this is your first Gladstone’s swim, feel free to contact Christian Ratsch (cratsch@math.ucla.edu) and/or Peter Reale Reale, (Peter_Reale@ibi.com) in case there are any last minute changes to the week’s meeting time or place.
Please note that none of us are trained lifeguards. We try to make sure that nobody swims alone, but you should be comfortable swimming in the ocean.
You MUST wear a colored cap in a bright color. No white or black... recommend yellow, orange, lime green, pink, light blue, etc.
